I was hoping that this fun little blog thing that’s been going around would finally make it to me.
1. Go to where you store your digital photos and open the 4th folder.
2. Post the 4th picture in that folder.
3. Explain the picture.
4. Tag 4 people.
I really love this picture of me and Jeff. It’s in the folder called “PreCarter” and it’s so odd that out of the THOUSANDS of pictures of Carter I have stored, the 4th folder, 4th picture isn’t one of him at all.
This picture was taken on the back deck of a HUGE yellow house on Isle of Palms. I love that you can see the ocean in the window behind us. My parents and their friends were playing in a tennis tournament on Daniel Island (I think) and they invited us down to hang out for a few days in October. It was a little chilly, hence the sweatshirt at the beach. Isle of Palms really made an impact on me. It became what I now tell everyone is my favorite place on earth. It’s beautiful. It’s quiet. It’s close to Charleston. But, it’s also crazy expensive. I don’t think we’ve been back since this trip. In fact, we’ve really only taken one other trip together since this one. It was our “babymoon” and we went to Myrtle Beach because we got a smokin deal on a beach condo in March. Those pictures are also in this folder. I also loved this house we stayed in. The stairs on the front porch looked like Tara in Gone with the Wind–you know, very wide at the bottom and tapering together as you go up. The house was 4 stories with an elevator to get you around. There were probably about 8 bedrooms and gather rooms with big tv’s and beachy furniture everywhere. There were 2 balconies off the back off the house. The one we were sitting on stretched all the way across the back of the house and had rocking chairs, wicker furniture and a swing. The other was on the top floor and you could see half way across the WORLD. I could have stayed there all day. This is a great picture.
